Inland Inflatable Boats Limited (IIB) are the industry specialists in the repair, service and certification of Inflatable and Semi Rigid Inflatable boats. Our facility is located at Unit 9B North West Business Park, Collooney, Co Sligo.
With over 25+ years’ experience in the marine industry, IIB has the background knowledge and experience to facilitate all our customers repair and service requirements, both within the leisure and commercial markets, which includes the out fitting and rigging of new builds, and the refitting of current in use ribs and Inflatables. The repair and service department is second to none, servicing and repairing all makes and models of Inflatable boats, engines, and trailers, and carrying out the installation and commissioning of all leading brands of electronic, navigation, communication and radar systems.
Our trained and certified technicians carry out all engine and auxiliary equipment installations to BMF (British Marine Federation) Standards, IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standards, NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) Standards, ISO Standards, and MSO (Marine Survey Office) Standards and recommendations. Our technicians use the very latest computerised diagnostic equipment (all makes and models) for all outboard installation commissioning and repairs.
IIB have a total of 6 full time, dedicated, enthusiastic staff at present. We have an Office / Parts Manager, together with 5 staff members in our Service and Technical Department.
Ronan Keys, the owner of IIB, along with Tony Traynor head up and manage our Service and Technical Department, joined by John Mc Sharry and Conor Mc Manus. Ronan and Tony are both qualified and fully insured to undertake all aspects of sea trails (commissioning and diagnostics).
Ronan is a qualified outboard mechanic with over 25+ years’ experience in the marine industry. In addition Ronan is a specialist in custom bespoke design and manufacturing, tube repairs, marine electronics and fiberglass work and repairs. Ronan has over 20 years’ experience in single, twin and triple outboard engine installation and commissioning including the sea trailing of same for both leisure, commercial, SAR and powerboat racing.
Tony Traynor is a qualified mechanic with over 24+ years’ experience and has extensive mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic experience. Tony is also a qualified Marine Electronics Installer with The British Marine Federation (BMF) and the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA), adhering always to the exacting standards of these industry leading organizations.
John Mc Sharry is a qualified Electrician with 5 years’ experience in the Marine Industry.
John too is a qualified Marine Electronics Installer with The British Marine Federation (BMF) and the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA), also adhering always to the exacting standards of these industry leading organizations.
Conor Mc Manus is a qualified carpenter and has been working with IIB for the past 6 years.
IIB have been servicing and repairing the Irish Coast Guard operational and relief fleet of (40+) vessels for over 8 years, and has also carried out a number of manufacturing refit projects on their vessels.
IIB also carries out manufacturing refit projects, service, repair, and maintenance for many leisure and commercial outfits, as well as for the Irish Naval Service, Inland Fisheries Ireland, The Garda Water Unit, National Parks and Wildlife Services, Waterways Ireland, numerous Community Inshore Rescue Units, various Civil Defence Units, Dublin / Limerick / Carlow Fire and Rescue Service, British Ministry of Defence (MOD), Highland and Islands Airport Authority (Scotland) and many other agencies within Ireland and the UK.
IIB is an approved warranty service and installation centre for Yamaha, Honda, Mariner Outboards engines, Shockwave Suspension seating, and Ullman Dyanmics AB. We are also an approved warranty service agent for Delta, Redbay, Sportis Ribs, Zodiac Pleasure and Military Spec boats and many more.
